Dr. Kudrat Bassi is a chiropractor who graduated from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 2024, where she graduated as Valedictorian and received the prestigious Dr. Herbert Magee Technique Award in recognition of her clinical and technique excellence.

Before earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Bassi completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. During her undergraduate studies, she developed a strong interest in human movement, rehabilitation, and injury prevention, leading her to pursue advanced coursework in sports medicine, physiology, aging, pregnancy care, and pediatrics. She also participated in research during her studies, contributing to a published project.

Dr. Bassi is passionate about providing patient-centered, evidence-based care tailored to each individual’s needs, goals, and lifestyle. She believes there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to treatment and understands that every patient responds differently to care. Her goal is to create personalized treatment plans that focus not only on relieving pain, but also improving function, mobility, and overall quality of life.

Her treatment style incorporates a wide variety of techniques and methods depending on the patient and condition being treated. She enjoys combining chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, rehabilitation exercises, movement-based care, and patient education to help patients achieve lasting results. Dr. Bassi values collaborative care and believes in empowering patients through education so they feel confident and involved throughout their recovery process.

Dr. Bassi has experience working with a wide range of patients, including athletes, families, prenatal and postnatal patients, and pediatric populations. During her training, she had the opportunity to work with children involved in sports and gained experience providing sideline support at football games. She also has additional training in caring for pregnant and postpartum patients, with a focus on helping patients move comfortably and confidently throughout different stages of life.

Whether treating acute injuries, chronic pain, postural concerns, sports-related conditions, or everyday aches and stiffness, Dr. Bassi strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment where patients feel heard, comfortable, and supported throughout their care journey.

After spending several years in California completing her chiropractic education, Dr. Bassi returned home to Calgary at the end of 2025 to be closer to family and begin the next chapter of her life after getting married. Being back in Calgary has allowed her to reconnect with the community she grew up in while continuing to pursue her passion for helping others improve their health and quality of life.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Bassi enjoys staying active through workouts and walks, reading books, watching shows, spending time with her husband and family, and exploring Calgary’s local community and restaurants.
